The firepit takes form. The new cinderblock and rough cement look is all the rage in Colorado. Actually, the faux stone finish is going on later. Sometimes it seems construction is like making sausages: you'd rather not see how it's done.

When Mandys away, the geeks will play! Mark spent last night getting the rack mount server up and running and the networking and phone more neatly arranged. Next project - home video distribution.

February 6, 2005 :: Superbowl! We headed to the local liquor store last night, Union Jacks to stock up on beer for the big game! Mark felt right at home.
 

February 5, 2005 :: Taking a walk through the neighborhood - this is Thunder Lake Park - an eating area constructed from rock - little like the flinstones! Our house is right behind my head - Big Red!  

February 4, 2005 :: We found a touch of California right around the corner. Lots are available ... with actual Mountain Views. :)

February 1, 2005 :: Sunrise. After a few days of snow, we woke up to blue skies. You can see part of our landscaping (mud-scaping right now) but the patio is in, and a few trees. 

January 31, 2005 :: Blanket of Snow (View from our patio). Woke up to even more snow - Mark shoveled the front walk, but the blue skies and sun took care of our back patio.
